Come and see us in the Nuneaton market on Saturday 3rd September and win a hamper of food!
People that are passionate about growing their own fruit and veg will be manning the market stall on Saturday 3rd September, ready and waiting to pass on their enthusiasm, raise some money for charity, and tell the public about how the Nuneaton Allotment Associations are involved in helping our local community.
Raffle for Mayor’s Appeal and Hamper Competition
Each of the 12 allotment associations of the Nuneaton Federation will be donating a hamper of allotment produce – fruit, veg and home-made preserves, maybe even a bottle of home-made wine. These will be raffled to raise money for The Mayor’s Appeal, as we did last year, when we raised £85. This is only our second year doing this, and we hope to get an even better response from the wonderful people of Nuneaton than we did in 2015.
This year, we have got competitive, so the Mayor, Jill Shepherd, will judge which is the best hamper. It will be interesting to see what the associations come up with.
